Bridal Show (State Fair Park)

There was a bridal show today at the Wisconsin Expo Center at State Fair Park. After church today Brooke and I met her mom there to wander around for a while hoping to find some good ideas for flower arrangements, table center pieces and a few other things.

The information Brooke had told us to enter Gate #1 – on the south side of the fair grounds. After paying $5 for parking (bogus – it should have been free!) we quickly found out that we had to enter on the other side of the building. Half way there Brooke remembered that we left the address labels in the car.

Quick note… get some blank address label sheets and print your information on there. Name, address, phone number and wedding date. Then when you need to fill in some card with your information you just peel and stick. Makes life a lot easier!

The bridal show itself was pretty good. Easy to get around, a lot to see and of course … cake! Seriously though of all the bridal shows we’ve been to so far I liked this one the best. Of course that could be because we’re pretty much set with everything and didn’t have to stop at every booth.

As usual we got a lot of information. Hopefully a lot of it will come in handy. Of course you get the occasional handout that you don’t want or need, but you grab it just to get away from the booth.
