Tuxedo Time

Since we were already out and about doing some wedding stuff on Saturday we thought it would be a good time to hit Men’s Wearhouse for the tuxedo rental.
When we first arrived they were pretty busy – a bunch of people picking up tuxedos and it looked like a few more doing some future rentals. Anyway we made a quick trip to Boston Market to let the place clear out a bit – which turned out to be well worth it since we were both hungry.
When we went back the place had cleared out a bit but they were still pretty busy. Picking out the tuxedos wasn’t bad since I pretty much knew what I wanted – just a traditional looking tuxedo.
It took a little longer than I thought but that was mainly because the computer the lady was working on kept freezing up (I know how that goes). I think we were there for maybe a half-hour total… not too bad.
For rentals we have a total of 11 tuxedos I believe. 1 for me, 1 best man, 4 groomsmen, 2 fathers, 2 ring bearers and 1 usher. Since we registered at a bridal show we get $25 off each tuxedo (I believe that’s what it was). There may have been another discount because it basically boils down to ~$65 per tuxedo.
Oh and in case any wedding party members are reading this… I skipped the socks for the tuxedos. $4 more per rental and I have too many “way to thin” tuxedo shop socks to know that’s a rip. Plus I’m pretty sure we all have a good pair of black socks. If not, I’ll get ya some.
One more thing crossed off the list.
