Apartment Hunting (Round 2 & 3)

(Posting for two days here – you’ll read why below)

On Monday (March 31) Brooke and I were suppose to look at the Willow Creek Apartments. This however did not happen. Why? Well for the second time no one told the people who would be there on the weekend that we were even coming.

We did schedule another viewing for Tuesday though (see below).

Brooke and I finally got to check out Willow Creek Apartments – I wasn’t terribly impressed with them. It was a very quick showing and once again we were in someone’s apartment when they were not home. That just bothers me for some reason – yes even if they let the tenants know this will be happening.

They have two different apartments available – I’ll call them the large and small apartments. We looked at the small apartment which was pretty nice. However, if we want to rent a garage we’d have to cross the street and go around a different apartment building to get to it. Really that’s not worth the (high) cost of the garage rental.

I would have liked to have seen the second, larger apartment but they couldn’t get in touch with the tenants to see if they could show it to us. We were told these tenants were nearly impossible to get in touch with to show the place. I believe the words, “pulling teeth” were used. To me that leaves the impression in my mind that the place is probably a nightmare – not a great thought when you might be renting the place next.

So as of now I think we’re deciding between Wildflower Place and Willow Creek Apartments.
