My First Freak Out

Up until now things haven’t been too bad for me wedding wise. I’d like to think that I’ve done my share of work on the wedding I know it’s not true. Brooke’s been a champion through this whole process and has really kept everything under control. I mean besides the invites, what have I really done? Made a few phone calls to places that seem to call Brooke back and not me. :Þ

Anyway, last night I was thumbing through some of the wedding books and looking at the checklists. You soon to be married folks know those lists. The what should be done by… 6 months, 3 months, 2 months, 1 month…. and so on.

I started to see how much work there is to do and kind of wigged out a bit. There’s a lot left to do and with the time flying by so fast I wonder how it’s all going to get done. I look at all the etiquette, rules, tasks… everything really… and it’s overwhelming.

I know we can handle it and the freak out was a bit silly. But either way I’m making a check list just to make sure I don’t forget anything. Plus it’s a great way to me to chip away at what needs to get done when ever I have some free time.
